Monterey Motorsport Reunion – Lotus 91 & Chevron B24

We were back in Monterey at the Laguna Seca for the second week running and the Rolex Monterey Reunion got underway. Again We took the Lotus 91 and the Chevron B24 to race in the Historic Formula One race and F5000 Race.

The weekend got off to a good start in the Historic Formula One race with Greg putting his Lotus on the 2nd row of the grid in 3rd place for race one. Later on in the day in the F5000 Greg crossed the line in 6th the same as he managed just a week before at the pre-reunion.

Unfortunately, Sunday was not so great for Titan Historic. The first mishap of the day was in the F5000 race where Greg had to retire from the race after 9 laps with a problem with the input shaft. The second problem we encountered was in the Forumlar One race when the Lotus 91 encountered gearbox problems when the Cron Wheel and Pinion bearing failed.

It wasn’t the end of the weekend we wanted but it is always a great weekend at an iconic track.
