A Look Back On 2019

It has been another great year for Titan Historic Racing and our partnership with Classic Team Lotus. This year took us all around the world again to participate in some of the best classic events. The highlight of the year for us was winning the Masters Historic North American Championship. Winning the North American Championship means Greg is the first Person to win the Pre 1972, Post 1972 World Championships and the North American World Championship. Greg and Classic Team Lotus became the first car / team / driver to win ten back to back north American F1 races since Nigel Mansell.

We are changing some things around for next year with the team as due to lack of space and the cars back from New Zealand Perry ,Richard and Lee have now got a “ Build “ workshop in Ongar and have almost finished the first total rebuild of the Titan MK 10 . EMS are then going to attack the Lotus Europa alongside their Jaguar XK120 and Cobra with the Porsche 914/6 after to be ready for spring 2020 .

Our Ferrari 308 is now fully rebuild thanks to EMS and finally the engine sorted by Mike at QV London .

The small Titan Mk 3/4 FF races to 3 rd place at Pau in France against much younger cars. Also the Titan went to the south of France for the Historic Grand Prix where it finished in 3rd and also went out at Brands Hatch early in the season and came 3rd in its first heat and 7th in the final .

The March 761 had another wonderful year in North America where is won it class every time out with Masters Historic and came in top 6 every time against the LMP cars and is now undergoing a full rebuild for next year to attack on The Daytona 24 Classic!

Earlier this month we were in Sebring racing the new Elan DP02 we finished 1st in class and 5 over all in the group with 240 bhp against LMP2s and LMP1 with up to 800 bhp !!

The Elan DP02 Car is being build over the winter with new carbon and a new engine so adding 300 BHP and 70 kgs lighter!
