A Little Weekend Away in Zolder

April was a great month for Titan Historic Racing with Greg Walking away from with 2 Trophies. The First outing of the month was at Zolder in Belgium for the first round of the Masters Historic Formula One Championship. We took the beautiful 1982 Lotus 91 and also the 1965 Ford Mustang with us to Zolder which turned out to be a winning combination. Greg Managed to get the Lotus 91 onto the first row of the grid qualifying in second place 0.599 Seconds behind Loic Deman on his home circuit. On the same day Greg qualified in the mustang on 4th place 3.328 seconds behind Voyazides-Hadfield in the Ford Falcon.

On the Sunday it proved to be a great day of racing with Greg starting in 2nd in the Lotus 91 and 4th in the Ford Mustang. The ford mustang held itself very well in the race holding on to the 4th place with no one being able to catch Voyazides-Hadfield who took the win. In the Masters Historic Formula One race it was clear no one was going to catch the front 3 of Loic Deman, Greg Thornton and Michael Lyons. Greg finished the race 3rd overall and 2nd in his class, 5.715 seconds from 1st and 2.06 off of Michael Lyons in 2nd.

Overall a good weekend for Greg and the Lotus, qualifying in 2nd and taking the 3rd step on the podium and also the trophy for 2nd in his class.
