HSCC At Silverstone

With a busy weekend ahead the lotus 22 went out or its qualifying session, after 7 laps of the beautiful Silverstone circuit Greg put the lotus 22 10th on the grid but with the 2 races this weekend had a feeling he could make progress throughout the races. Race 1 was an indication of what we could expect form the rest of the weekend and Greg managed to move up 1 place and finish in 9th only 1.2 seconds off of 8th. Race two saw Greg start off in 8th place and manage to push the lotus to the edge and moved up 2 places to finish in 6th just 0.5 seconds behind 5th place.

Not only was Greg moving up the field in the formula juniors but after qualifying 8th in the ford mustang, Greg made up 4 position during the race to finish 4th overall 3 seconds off Andy Wolfe in 3rd place. However Greg managing to move up to 4th place meant he was 3rd in class. We also had success with the Surtees after qualifying in 5th place and moving up in the race to 3rd taken a podium finish.
