A great weekend at Brands Hatch

After a great first day at brands hatch speedfest Greg went into Sunday in pole position. Waking Up on Sunday with the looking like it will fall at any point we decided to put the wet weather tyres on the Surtees and believe it or not but hoped for rain! Race 1 came around and so did the new official Titan Historic cheerleaders from Chelmsford Anglia Ruskin university, rain pouring down and a soaked track in front of us race 1 started, after a slow start Greg dropped down into 4th where he stayed for the remainder of the race.

 In late afternoon Race two was fast approaching and the weather started to dry up but we only had wet weather tyres for the cars so braving it Greg set out hoping for the best, after a very exciting race which saw Greg take the lead which he had to try and keep it with wet tyres on a quickly drying track. With Greg looking for every bit of wet track he could 2nd place Adrian Hall was quickly catching but time was on Gregs side this time. Finishing in first place and the front tyres destroyed it was smiles all around with the Titan cheerleaders presenting the trophies and Greg taking top step!
