Lotus 77 In Roam America

July saw another busy month for Greg Thornton and the Titan Historic racing team which starts off at Road America. Greg took the beautiful Lotus 77 to his wonder track in a very success weekend.

 The weekend started with a good qualifying where Greg managed to place the Lotus 77 on pole position with a best lap time of 2.06.958 with a gap of 3.2 seconds between him and Ethan Shippert in the Brabham 74. In the first race of the weekend Ethan managed to get past Greg and take the chequered flag with Greg finishing in 2nd.

 In the second qualifying of the weekend Ethan managed to beat Greg to pole position by 1.1 seconds. However in race 2 Greg turned on the style and was out to prove to himself and the crowd that he had a lot more to give and that he did by taking the chequered flag in race 2 followed up by James King in the March 76.
