Greg Takes the Double in Canada

Greg celebrated his birthday and fathers day in a true race drivers fashion, staying in Canada after his double podium finish in the Canadian Grand Prix support race for the second masters weekend Greg kept his momentum going with a double win.

It all started with qualifying where Greg got off to a flying start putting in a flying lap of 1.15.917 unfortunately he had to retire to the pits with a throttle cable problem on lap 5. However Greg’s flying lap was enough to see off the rest of the pack as he secured pole position.

As Race one came along so did the excitement with in Classic Team Lotus as they had secured the front row of the grid with Greg and Katsu in 1st and 2nd. Greg wasn’t going to play around in this first race and from start to finish he led all the way to the chequered flag followed by co Classic Team Lotus Driver Katsu. Greg put in a fastest lap of 1.15.049, just 4 seconds slower than Andretti in period.

The second race of the weekend was a duplicate for of the first race seeing Greg lead the whole race to get his 3rd win in 2 weeks.
