Oulton Park Gold Cup 2016

Team Titan Historic Racing took 3 races to Oluton Park for the Gold Cup weekend, Ford Mustang, Surtees TS11 and the Chevron B8.

The first car out on the track was the Ford Mustang which saw Greg Qualify in 12th Position 5 seconds off the pole position. Greg had an excellent racing determined to better his qualifying performance which he manged to do by moving past 6 cars and finishing 6th which put him 2nd in class.

We saw the best laps we have ever seen in the Chevron B8 during qualifying putting the stunning B8 on pole position with a gap of 0.297 seconds. Unfortunately the hard qualifying took it toll on the car as it came up with gear problems meaning that we were not able to finish the race after a promising start.

Greg also saw a little bit of disappointment in the Surtees as he managed to qualify in 4th position but again because of mechanical problems he Surtees was unable to finish the race with 3 laps to go.
